Licensed Social Worker and Therapist for 14 years People often come into therapy with worries and feeling 'not like myself.' Do you find yourself going into productive mode over connecting mode? Are you stressing rather than creating? Trying to fix yourself and others more than growing? Do you notice self-judgment and reactivity rather than constructive problem solving? Are you losing yourself rather than tuning in? This is part of our human hard wiring. We love to do and forget how to just 'be.' The good news is every one of us can rewire these sabotaging thoughts and behaviors. We are made for expansion and connection. My clients come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, from different regions, and a range of identities. I enjoy working with people who have lived and worked in other countries who are trying to find a sense of belonging, community, and purpose.
In sessions, I am collaborative, engaged, transparent, and nonjudgmental. I do not ‘just sit back and listen.' I hold clients accountable, bring structure to our time together, and most importantly create a safe space for clients to grow and learn. I have a warm, down-t0-earth style.
